Another distinguished brand has chosen SOHO by Yareal
This December, Warsaw’s Kamionek district will welcome the new showroom of OSSKA DESIGN, a Polish interior design company specialising in handcrafted solid wood furniture. The brand’s space will occupy a ground-floor unit in the KARDAN building, directly adjacent to the iconic restaurant Warszawa Wschodnia by Mateusz Gessler.
OSSKA DESIGN was founded in 2021 for those who value beautiful interiors, nature, and a distinctive style. Furniture of this company, crafted from solid wood, embodies naturalness, comfort, and elegance. Each piece is created under the supervision of experts with over 30 years of woodworking experience. The company uses only fabrics from trusted, renowned suppliers and carefully selected wood finishes to create interiors that exude harmony and luxury. The product portfolio includes dining tables, chairs, bar stools, sideboards, shelving systems, and beds. All OSSKA DESIGN furniture is manufactured in Poland, yet the brand’s creations are already present on multiple international markets.
“As the creators of OSSKA DESIGN, we are delighted to be opening our showroom in the dynamically developing SOHO by Yareal in Praga-Południe,” – said Przemysław Osiecki, Co-Founder and CEO of OSSKA DESIGN.
“We believe this location will provide a conducive environment for growth and inspiring encounters. By visiting our showroom, clients will not only discover our furniture but will also enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of SOHO, with its cafés and restaurants already in place and those yet to come. We look forward to welcoming clients and visitors – we are creating an elegant space that will contribute to a unique whole”
The OSSKA DESIGN showroom will open in December this year in a unit of over 130 m2 located on the ground floor of the KARDAN building.
KARDAN is a modern U-shaped residential building with an open courtyard. Its elegant façade, clad in brick tiles, harmonises with tall French windows and delicate openwork details. White walls provide a counterpoint to the brick finishes in the inner courtyard. The entire ground floor of KARDAN, as well as part of the first floor facing the linear park, has been designated for retail and services. Large glass storefronts define two public passageways – one running north–south, the other east–west. They intersect in the courtyard, creating a central community space. This is also where the distinctive mural “Galimatias” by artist Zuzanna Wollny was created, symbolically depicting the dynamic growth of Praga-Południe and its industrial heritage.
“SOHO by Yareal is a place with soul – where industrial history blends seamlessly with contemporary urban living. It is an open, vibrant part of the city that invites people to spend time, meet, and connect.” – commented Paulina Petynka, Leasing Director, Yareal Polska.
“Through our leasing strategy, SOHO by Yareal is gaining a carefully curated mix of retail, service, and dining concepts that complement the residential function of the project. We are pleased that yet another brand has recognised the potential of this exceptional destination and chosen to tie its future to it. I am confident that the elegant interiors of the KARDAN building provide the perfect setting to showcase OSSKA DESIGN’s portfolio, and that the showroom will attract all those in search of the finest quality furniture”.
SOHO by Yareal is a modern local hub in Warsaw’s Kamionek neighbourhood, designed in line with the 15-minute city concept. It combines residential, recreational, dining, office, and service functions. The project, which has been awarded prestigious BREEAM Communities certificate, integrates renovated post-industrial buildings into a modern development, creating an open, vibrant space that harmoniously blends with the existing architecture of Warsaw’s Praga district. A linear park, atmospheric courtyards, sunny terraces, and recreational areas foster community engagement, while the limits on car traffic allow residents and visitors to fully enjoy the surroundings.
Retail and service units at SOHO by Yareal are located mainly on the ground floor of the residential buildings, with some also situated within the restored historic structures. In total, over 11,300 m2 of space across dozens of units is planned for retail and services.
A significant part of the retail offering at SOHO by Yareal consists of culinary concepts. The complex is already home to the signature café and breakfast spot Waszyngton × Soho, with a bakery among other venues in preparation. In 2026, the first Green Caffè Nero in Kamionek and Ramenownia – a concept offering a distinctive take on traditional Japanese ramen – will also open at SOHO by Yareal. Meanwhile, in the historic building distinguished by its characteristic brick chimney, a culinary hub will be inaugurated in the second half of 2026, featuring such concepts as Bułkę przez Bibułkę, Pollypizza Neopolitan, and Baken.
SOHO by Yareal also offers a wide range of retail and services. The complex already houses a preschool, a play centre, the first Carrefour grocery store in Warsaw in the “300” format, as well as beauty salons, and a flower shop. A large Hebe store is also scheduled to open in early 2026.
Currently, construction is underway for the final residential phase, which includes two buildings with high-standard apartments (SOHO 10 and SOHO 12) and the NEFRYT apartment building. Upon their completion in late 2025, the residential portion of the complex will be finalized.
